Gynii Gilliam joined Bannock Development Corporation (BDC) as Executive Director in May 2006, bringing more than twenty years of experience in rural and urban community planning and economic development to the region. Her primary responsibilities include fostering job creation and growing a diversified economy in the greater Pocatello and Bannock County, Idaho areas through business recruitment, retention, and expansion programs.

Since joining BDC, Gynii’s efforts to shift local economic development efforts toward adopting a more collaborative, team-oriented approach has resulted in establishing a much stronger partnership with the City, County, Idaho State University (ISU), neighboring rural communities, the region, and the entire state. Her efforts are sharply focused on creating momentum to enable business leaders to immediately connect with key players, so they can move through the process quickly, whether they are relocating, expanding or starting-up.
