Financing
  • Up to $10 million in Industrial Revenue Bonding capacity is available in Idaho for financing of manufacturing, processing, production, and assembly projects. Bonds are issued by a public corporation with a project or business serving as collateral.
  • All SBA loan packages are available.
Public Improvement
  • Up to $500,000 in Community Block Grants is available through local cities and counties to finance public infrastructure improvements (such as water and sewer) and support business development.
  • $500 New Jobs Credit for businesses that produce, assemble, fabricate, manufacture or process natural resource products.
Tax Benefits
  • 3% Investment Tax Credit is available for qualifying new investments in Idaho. The credit can offset up to 50% of state income tax liability and may be carried forward up to 14 years.
  • 5% Research and Development Credit is available for basic research and costs of qualified research that is performed in Idaho. This tax credit is transferable.
Workforce Credits
  • Up to $4,000 Training Reimbursement for Each New Employee is available for qualifying jobs through Idaho's Workforce Development Training Fund Program. Click here to download an informative document with details about this valuable program.
